A Turkish court ruled on May 21, 2026 to annul a 2023 Republican People's Party (CHP) congress due to claimed voting irregularities. The decision will remove CHP Chairman Ozgur Ozel from office and reinstate former opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who has accepted the decision.
